Welcoming the Month of May!

May is such an exciting time for my family. Not only is it my first Mother's Day with the TWO loves of my life—Nick and Camden—but it is also the month we hit the road as a family to be together for Nick's upcoming tour. We love sharing all these moments together because, after all, that's what life is about, right?! Family!

I always thought I would be the type of mom who wanted to sleep in, have breakfast in bed and be pampered all day. Maybe that will come after a few more kids, but for now, I LOVE sharing my day with my boys. So I think we are going to grab a bite to eat as a family and then do something fun outdoors. That way, Wookie can even join us! No matter how perfect the day is planned, there are always unexpected melt downs when you have a newborn. That's why new moms bring toys everywhere they go! Cam's favorite toys are the interactive ones! So, I make sure to ALWAYS have Duracell® Ultra Power™ batteries packed in my purse. Then, later in the month, we are officially hitting the road on a tour bus! Nick's band is touring this May, and we are so excited to make memories as a family! We even got one of the bunks on the bus converted into a crib so Cam will feel right at home, along with his toys (and of course my stock of batteries!). Since we are going to be taking a TON of pictures and home videos, I want our smiles to be their best! That's why I packed away our Oral-B® 3D White Advanced Vivid Toothbrushes. While I know it is going to be a fun "family" experience, it's also still "work" for Nick. So, sometimes after a long day traveling, being dad, then performing, Nick NEEDS a good night sleep. That way, I can focus on the important stuff, like snuggle time and screaming in the front row with groupie love, haha!!!

Spring Has Sprung! Welcome Your ‘Firsts’ This Season

Now that the weather is starting to warm up and the flowers are finally beginning to bloom, it’s time to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new!

As you know, with Camden in our lives, we are constantly experiencing new and exciting things. In fact, we just celebrated our first Valentine’s with him and now we’re looking forward to his first word, the first time he crawls, and soon — his first spring season! Nick and I are always looking for new activities to try out with our little man, and this spring, we plan on taking our very first family trip to the zoo. It’s something we can do together, while making new memories that will stay in our hearts forever. I hope he loves the penguins just as much as I do, and I can’t wait to see which animal proves to be his favorite! Nick is convinced it will be the monkeys. Maybe because I call him my little monkey!

Love Is All Around! Celebrate the Things You LOVE This Month!

I’m really excited for Valentine’s Day this year. It really is one of my favorite holidays because it celebrates one of the most important things in life—LOVE!

Nick and I feel very lucky to have so much love to celebrate. With each “first” and memory we make together as a family, our love for each other grows deeper and deeper (I know, a little cheesy but it’s true!). This Valentine’s Day, we plan to celebrate the greatest addition to our lives along with how much our love has grown for one another over the past few months.

New Year, New You! Making resolutions and sticking to them!

Happy 2013, Everyone!

Have you set your New Year’s resolutions yet? This year, I’ve decided to focus my goals on the little things, the small everyday changes me and my family can do to make a difference and ease life’s daily demands.

Through my partnership with the Have You Tried This Yet? program, I’ve learned about so many simple and innovative product solutions that truly ease my daily routine for me, my family, and my home.

As a mother, I’m so busy taking care of my family that I tend to forget about myself. One of my resolutions is to make time for “me time!” Although very relaxing, professional services can not only be expensive, but very time consuming. Instead, I spoil myself by using products I already have in my home, like the Gillette^® Venus & Olay^™ Razor. It’s something so simple, but it boosts my homemade spa experience by leaving my skin smooth without even having to apply lotion.

I’ve also been trying to not stress too much over my cleaning routine. Mi Casa es Su Casa! Tips and Tricks for Hosting Guests During the Holidays

The most wonderful time of the year is finally here!

We LOVE the holidays in the Lachey household! That is one of the many reasons why I am thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Have You Tried This Yet? this year because it offers a ton of innovative solutions for your self, family and home.

The holiday season is such a busy time for us. If we are not traveling from place to place visiting everyone we can, we are hosting people in our own home. Now with Camden in the mix, we realized we have many more trips planned and visitors to see this year. I wonder why? It can’t be all the cuteness and love he gives - ok, I guess it is ☺!

I have been preparing and planning for the holidays for quite awhile now so I have stocked up on many of the innovative products highlighted in the Have You Tried This Yet? program. I am telling you, I get REALLY excited about it! When we are hosting overnight guests in our home, I like to make them feel like they are in their own place. Through my journey with P&G, I have discovered this amazing product called Tide® with a Touch of Downy® Unstopables Lush Scent. This innovative product makes all of our linens smell fresh and feel incredibly soft. What’s better than sinking into a comfy, clean bed at the end of a long day of fun?

I also love to make our guests an in-room care basket that includes anything they could need during their stay. You should definitely let your guests know ahead of time so they know they can dedicate that extra room in their suitcases for presents! I think it’s safe to say, when traveling by airplane, we’re all challenged by the 3 oz. liquid travel limit, especially when you’re just doing carry-on!

I typically include personal care products like Pantene® Aqua Light Shampoo and Conditioner, Olay® Winter Retreat Body Wash (a little boost to renew that dry, winter skin), as well as Crest® Pro-Health® Clinical Plaque Control toothpaste and an Oral-B® Pro-Health® Clinical Pro-Flex toothbrush to maintain those pearly whites for the obligatory group pictures. You'd be surprised how many guests forget their toothbrush & toothpaste! I also like to add some water bottles, snack bars and fresh fruit just in case you need a little something after you retire for the night.
